Personal information is any information about you which can be used to identify you. This includes information about you as a person (such as name, address, and date of birth), your device, payment details, and information about how you use our website or online service.
In the event our site contains links to third-party sites and services, please be aware that those sites and services have their own privacy policies. After following a link to any third-party content, you should read their posted privacy policy information about how they collect and use personal information. This Privacy policy does not apply to any of your activities after you leave our website or other sites we own and operate.

The Next Race grants you a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable and non-transferable right to access and use our services, which right is temporary and can be revoked at any time. A "use" is any permanent or temporary reproduction of the services in the object code by means of storing, loading, executing or displaying for the purpose of running the Services on your devices.
A further use of the services, including the logo, pictures or video material, such as the distribution, modification, transmission, reuse, downloading, reposting, copying, whether in whole or in part, for commercial purposes or for personal gain is not permitted without the explicit written consent of The Next Race.
Consumer Rights, Error Reporting, and Feedback
Should you wish to make a claim for a defect, please reach out to us via contact@thenextrace.app. All claims for defects shall be subject to the limitations set out in section 9.
You may provide information and feedback concerning errors, suggestions for improvements, ideas, problems, complaints, and other matters related to our services ("Feedback") via our website and/or any of our other pages or apps. Feedback can also be provided via contact@thenextrace.app By submitting Feedback, you acknowledge and agree that: (i) you shall not retain, acquire or assert any intellectual property right or other right, title or interest in or to the Feedback; (ii) The Next Race may have development ideas similar to the Feedback; (iii) Feedback does not contain confidential information or proprietary information from you or any third party; and (iv) The Next Race is not under any obligation of confidentiality with respect to the Feedback.
Data Protection
The Next Race processes the data collected through the our website and/or any of our pages or apps, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation, the Federal Data Protection Act and the Telemedia Act.
Partners & Third-Parties
Users may choose to connect partner-apps, or, third-party apps, such as, but not limited to, Garmin, Strava, Apple, Coros, to The Next Race. These can be disconnected at any time.
Garmin Data Integration
If you choose to connect your Garmin account with The Next Race, we will access and process certain data from Garmin via the Garmin Developer API, strictly in accordance with your consent and applicable data protection laws.
When authorized by you, we may receive data from Garmin including, but not limited to:
- Activity and workout data (such as distance, duration, pace, heart rate, and other performance metrics)
- Training and fitness summaries
- Activity timestamps and related metadata
We only request access to the data necessary to provide the features and functionality of The Next Race. We do not access Garmin data without your explicit authorization.
Data obtained via the Garmin API is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- To display and organize your Garmin activities and training data within The Next Race
- To provide personalized insights, progress tracking, and performance analysis
- To support features related to training planning, performance evaluation, and user experience improvements
- To maintain, improve, and troubleshoot the functionality of the platform
Garmin-provided data is not used for advertising and is not combined with third-party data for marketing purposes.
We do not sell, rent, or share Garmin data with third parties for their independent use. Garmin data may be processed by trusted service providers (such as cloud hosting or analytics services) acting on our behalf and under strict data protection agreements.
We retain Garmin data only for as long as it is necessary to provide the services you have requested. You may disconnect your Garmin account at any time, after which we will stop accessing new data from Garmin. Previously retrieved data will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable timeframe, unless retention is required for legal or regulatory purposes.
Our processing of Garmin data is based on your explicit consent and, where applicable, the necessity to perform the services you request. We process all data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR.
